Photo Day Info

  • Photo days are being held on Saturday and Sunday, September 22 and 23, 2012 at the Navy League Building located at 16th Street and Forbes Avenue, North Vancouver.  The schedule is now complete and attached.  Please circulate to your coaches/managers asap.  All AGC’s to pick up photo days packages from me this evening at Delbrook Rec Center in the OAK Room between 8:30 -9:15 pm.   Ask your teams to pick up photo days packages from you preferably this weekend and circulate.
  • All teams to be on the field in front of the Navy league twenty minutes in advance of the scheduled time i.e. if your team package says 2:05 p.m., you are expected at the Navy League building by 1:45 p.m. ready to go.  The photographer could be ahead of schedule and we will take the 2:05 pm scheduled teams in anytime after 1:45 pm.  The timing is tight so we can’t hold up the line to wait for any late arrivals.  Please request that your teams/players are aware of the twenty minute advance call.  In the example above,  you are considered LATE if you arrive after 1:45 pm.
  • Please leave the field immediately after your photo’s are taken.  We are short on parking space and will need to open up spots for those arriving.  Most of the parking is ahead of the building on the East side around the grassy knoll and we have a few spots in front of.  Please be careful with tiny tots in these areas as cars are moving back and forth and we don’t want to see anybody get hurt.
  • All forms to be filled out before players arrive and players to have those in their hands as they walk in the building.  We will have a few emergency forms on-site but don’t rely on those as they are sometimes few and far between.    If you have any questions about the photo packages, you can contact Pete or John at Pro-Line in advance.  They are available and happy to walk parents through all the forms.  Pete’s email is: pro-line3@studioonephotography.ca
  • While you are waiting on the field, our sponsor Macey’s Sports will there with a booth selling sports-wear, etc.  They are the only “club approved vendor” that we sanction onsite for this event.
  • Our new NSGSC Scarves have arrived and will be on sale at the field.  The cost is $20 per scarf.  All proceeds from the sales will go to help us fund our NSGSC Overseas Travelling Teams through our NSGSC Academy.  This year’s trip is being planned for August 2013 and we are off to London, England!!!  Please help us to support our travelling teams this year by purchasing a scarf.  If you miss getting one, we will have them available again at the upcoming Thanksgiving Tournament in October or you can purchase them through our academy by visiting our website at www.nsgsc.ca
  • NO CLEATS ALLOWED in the building. Wear your runners !!  Blue uniforms preferred !!
  • One last thing to note especially for our new and younger teams.  We ask that parents stay OUTSIDE of the building while the team is being led through the shoot with their coaches and manager.  No parents in the back door watching as we are on a strict time-table and it distracts the photographers and also the children.
